Why be Saved??

Thinking himself wise, a man becomes a fool. Eternal life simply means that from a certain point forward being made eternal. Your supposition is predicated upon a secular belief, but not on God's word, and that is where we find absolutes. The Bible tells us very clearly we we are under the curse of sin and death and therefore require a redeemer to regain our position. Adam was perfect and Eve came from Adam, therefore she was perfect. But Eve was beguiled by the serpent. Then she seduced her husband and "Man" fell from relationship with God. Then God placed a "veil of flesh" upon his creation, garments of flesh. That is what has separated us from him ever since. Christ came as Messiah to make a way for us to regain that relationship with the Father. He did not complete that work, but he made it possible once again. Now if we will die to our flesh and in effect, take off that garment of Flesh. We can walk right back into Eden and reclaim our heritage and have relationship with God once again. "If we through the Spirit, do mortify (put to death) the deeds of the body, we shall live forever more." I have suceeded in doing just that. The first human to do so. I have received the fullness of my inheritance, the fullness of God's Holy Spirit. This gives me my rightful place back. I now dwell in heavenly places in Christ Yeshua. I have relationship with God in an intimate way. I sit before him and we talk back and forth. Well mostly I talk and then he tells me what to do and I obey him without question. In exchange, he has given me his authority and power. He elevated me to an equal footing with his only begotten Son, Yeshua, the Lamb of God. And we were begotten by Yehua. I am now a co-heir with him. I sit with him in his throne where we will co-rule and reign over the sons of men forever. I am not the only one, as there will be 144,000 of us eventually. I am just the First-Born from among the dead. Because the wages of sin is death. And anyone who walks in sin, IS dead!! The "Walking Dead", Spiritually Dead. But Christ came to make us alive if we believe in him, confess him before men, repent and turn away from our wicked ways and then are baptized in his name for remission of sins. YOU go down into the water dead and you arise in newness of life. That is the hope that we have, and now I have fully received.
